This week on Recipes That Crock we have a special treat for you! We will be highlighting a bunch of great recipes that require a little sizzle before or after cRockin’ the Pot.
Now I know many folks don’t like the added step of browning their meat or dirtying another dish, so we are going to spend the week talking about ways to save time and still enjoy all of these yummy recipes!
This week we are going to explore great slow cooker recipes from my friends at Gooseberry Patch and theirSlow-Cookers, Casseroles & SkilletsCookbookwhile trying out Hamilton Beach’s Stovetop Slow Cookerand their Programmable Insulated Slow Cooker— both of which they sent me to test out in my kitchen.
And a testin’ I did! I now have all kinds of yummy sizzlin’ recipes to share with you this week!
Later today we will share this delicious . Can you say comfort food?
Tuesday will be all about this super yummy Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup!
On Wednesday we will be taking a slow cooker favorite and adding a little sizzle after the crock to give you THE best slow cooker roasted chicken you have ever had!
On Thursday, we will be sharing these fall-off-the-bone Sweet Saucy Ribs. Yum!
On Friday we will enjoy an Autumn Apple Pork Roast.
Last but not least, on Saturday we are going to share this family favorite Slow Cooker Beefy Mac and Cheese.

my family loves chicken roasted in a crock pot. My daughter — a very picky eater — asks for this meal all the time and I serve the chicken with rice and a veggie. This is such an easy meal to put on the table and I can make a crock pot full of chicken soup from what ever is left over!

My favorite meat recipe is a pork roast slow cooked with chopped onion and a can of Rotel, then shredded. Makes delicious wonderful tacos!

I love to make roulade in the slow cooker. The smell of the meat, bacon, onions and pickles is fantastic, especially when you come home from a hard day at work. Yum.
