Lolly: Glad you tried a walk on the beach. I see that the wind should be settling down and should be fine for beach walking the rest of the week! Find some nice shells!
BF: glad the power is back on. Some wild weather you experienced! I have to use a pneumonic device to figure out port and starboard and always go with port to the left with 4 letters for left. Gets me through difficult concoctions!

Our trees ...hundreds of them...have been whipping around the last hour on our little Bent Mtn. ridge. Kinda scary and lights have flickered a couple of times. I've been swiffering and vacuuming for the last couple of hours since dog sitting for our two grand dogs that left today. No parties here! Ha! Hoping this front goes away on the east and hoping it doesn't stay for Lollys anniversary trip.

Well it wasn't a party, just a Sunday dinner thing with family and friends that we do every other weekend or so.

Thank you for the Happy Anniversary wishes ,Bent and Greg.
We’ve been blessed.
Little did my parents know back in 1968,when they first brought us here for a beautiful couple of days staying on the beach at the John Yancey, that decades of wonderful times on the Outer Banks would follow, that they would own a home in NH for 30 years, and that 4 generations of us would continue to come to the place we love the most.
I’m sure that Mom and Daddy are smiling.
